About

With a master's degree in art history, E. Juliette had never considered creating, but faced with the advancement of an incurable neurodegenerative disease, a need to express herself became a vital impulse. Creating then became an instinctive response to the fragility of existence, a way of transforming the ordeal into a form of catharsis.
This intense momentum today fuels an artistic approach that questions vulnerability.
This work seeks to illustrate how flaws and wounds are not limits, but what shape the uniqueness of each person while revealing our interconnectedness to the world. In this sense, they inscribe the individual in a common humanity and, beyond that, in a belonging to the living. This approach invites us to go beyond the societal barriers and emotional anesthesia imposed by contemporary society by reclaiming this vulnerability that crosses both human beings and ecosystems, while highlighting the power of transformation and resilience that resides in each of us.
